Well, time for something different. I call this Windows 7 OsX Netbook Edition
x86. I started this project because a family member has a netbook and of course
I had to trash that crappy Windows 7 Starter Edition it came with.They say if
something is worth doing, it's worth overdoing. This is a good example, lol.

OK, so this is what we have here:
Windows 7 Ultimate x86 that has been optimized to run on a netbook with a cool
GUI and far more functionality than Starter Edition.
I slipstreamed all critical and non-critical updated until 10/1/2010 and added
the Intel Graphics and Synaptics Touch Pad drivers that most netbooks run.
And of course I added multiple OsX themes, icons, Xdock, sounds, cursors,
branding and wallpapers.

System Requirements:

If you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here?s what it takes:
1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

"Extended" is a term usually used to describe unorthodox techniques used when playing a musical instrument in an unconventional way, to coax new timbres from a traditional instrument.

Since the early 20th century, the piano has been at the forefront of this trend, with composers such as John Cage preparing the piano with nuts and bolts, Henry Cowell composing pieces in which the performer reaches inside the piano and plucks or strums the strings, and Stephen Scott bowing the strings with an ensemble of performers to produce an orchestral sound. The latter inspired us to create the ground-breaking Bowed Piano instrument in 2008, and now we have revisited the same piano to build on that concept and further explore extended piano techniques for an exciting new suite of instruments.
For the ( Xtended ) Piano collection, we have explored 5 different techniques and created a virtual instrument for each :

MUTE PIANO
Mute piano is a technique in which you lightly touch the finger at a nodal point on the piano string and play the key to produce a harmonic.

BOWED PIANO
Our bowed piano includes three articulations, two made with very long bows which are sustained (and the samples are looped).

PLUCKED PIANO
This is a technique in which the piano notes are plucked, either with the fingers or a plectrum of some sort.

MALLET PIANO
A piano of course has internal mallets itself (made of hard felt), but you can also hit the strings with foreign mallets to produce a different timbre.

SFX PIANO ( SCRAPES & STRUMS )
We also recorded a large collection of strums and scrapes, but these are not always pitched, or else include large clusters that are difficult to map as a traditional instrument.

The Model 290 Imperial, a 9’6” grand piano, is famous for its powerful soundboard and its extended keyboard; going as far as a bottom C0, making a full eight octave range or 97 keys. Sometimes, these extra keys are hidden under a small hinged lid, on others, the colours of the extra white keys are reversed (black instead of white). The extra keys are added primarily for increased resonance from the associated strings; that is, they vibrate sympathetically with other strings whenever the damper pedal is depressed thus creating a fuller tone. With the VIENNA GRAND they are playable.

The Vienna Grand was recorded at Hansahaus Studios/Germany which is famous for its outstanding Jazz Recordings and has received two Grammy Awards. We placed great emphasis on capturing the Bösendorfers huge dynamic range and energy, especially its powerful low end; using additional microphones in the lower register.

Most graphing packages offer powerful features but they are difficult to learn, difficult to teach and difficult to use. Many schools spend more time teaching students how to use the program rather than actually using it. FX Graph is different - it is dead simple. So simple that secondary students will be using it to solve problems within minutes of first seeing it.

As a quick example, think how long it would take you to draw this graph, with the annotations, in your current graphing package. In FX Graph 3 it takes seconds. FX Graph finds all the points of interest and displays them automatically as you move your mouse around the screen. One click and the annotation is added to the graph. Does simplicity limit versatility? Not with FX Graph 3. FX Graph has a large number of capabilities - far more than we can show you here.

What's Wrong With Other Graphing Packages?

Most graphing packages have their individual strengths but we have identified six common faults.

Setting axes is too difficult. Students find it near impossible to set suitable axes for graphs. FX Graph makes setting axes about as easy as it can be - it can even be totally automatic. Axes that would take minutes to create with other graphing packages can be created in seconds.
Entering functions is too difficult. There are too many "tricks" to learn. FX Graph uses Efofex's equation technology. Equations are entered as the student sees them. There are very few "tricks" to learn.
Finding Points of Interest (maxima, minima, intercepts, asymptotes, point discontinuities, points of intersection, points of inflection) is too difficult. FX Graph automatically calculates all points of interest and displays them when the mouse is close. There is nothing to learn - just move the mouse.
Annotating graphs - adding labels to important points is too difficult or impossible. FX Graph allows you to add comprehensive annotations to graphs with a simple click. When FX Graph AUTOMATICALLY displays an important point, ONE CLICK will turn it into a permanent annotation.
The graphs the package draws do not look like the ones you draw. FX Graph will let you draw graphs exactly the way you want them. Our international focus means that just about every option is available.
The packages are too complex and overwhelming - especially for younger students. FX Graph is designed to be simple to use with a very small learning curve. Thirteen year old, average students will be using it to graph functions in minutes. Eighteen year old, talented students will not find it limiting.

Recent events such as the subprime mortgage crisis also inspired a bank-themed keep and a cleric named Brother Lehman. Screenshot: "Mark Leung: Revenge of the Bitch" is the pristine episode in a series of parody role-playing games that has been dubbed ~ means of one critic as "Final Fantasy meets the Internet."
