The Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) has announced the Senior Secondary Examination 2010 1st Semester/Compartment/DIC /Open School result on 13-12-2010. The exams were held in the month of september 2010.
PSEB class XIIth compartment/open school results are available on the official website of the board: http://pseb.ac.in/frmResultShow.htm . The results are also available shool wise, where you just need to type the school code to get the results.
To avoid load and congestion on the website, the PSEB has also arranged for three separate servers so that it easier for students and parents to see the results on the other server in case one server is down due to heavy traffic.
Punjab State Education Board Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) was set up under an Act of Legislation in 1969, which was later amended in 1987, 2000 and 2005. According to the provisions of this Act, the PSEB exercises and performs the following functions:
1. Prescribe the syllabus, courses and text books for school education;
2. Conduct reserach for grading of textual vocabulary and make arrangements for regular revision of text books and other books;
3. Conduct examinations for school education (at different levels), announce the results of these exams and grant certificates to the students psssing such examinations
4.Look after the preparations, compilation, publication, improvement, printing and sale of text books.
5.To make necessary arrangements and work towards affiliations of schools to the PSEB
6.To work towards bringing about qualitative improvement in school education.
7.To act as an advisory body to the state Govt. regarding School Education.
