Sonakshi Sinha “I am not comfortable wearing bikini”. Surprisingly, India Today’s website had featured a picture showing Sonakshi wearing a white bikini earlier today.


Sonakshi Sinha denied that she rejected Maxim offer to wear a bikini in the Maxim magazine’s cover page where she is actually seen in a black dress. There was a buzz in the media that Sonakshi will be seen wearing a white and green bikini for the magazine’s cover page. But, the Maxim’s cover page tells an entire different story showing her in a black dress and looking marvellous. Soruce said, first maxim cover page comes with Sonakshi in a bikini but on objection of Sonakshi’s father Shatrugan Sinha, it was changed.

Sonakshi commented on twitter, although she had appeared in Maxim’s photoshoot in a black dress, she did not pose in bikini. Hence, she was shocked when India Today featured an article related to her appearance in bikini for Maxim.


Sonakshi Sinha had decleared not to wear any revealing clothes for publicity sake. Now when the bikini photo appeared over the internet, it raised a huge interest among her followers. So, now as she is claiming the photo to be a fake, still loads of people are not buying it.


Same like Yanna Gupta’a pantyless scandel, even with fake picture Sonakshi Sinha gained huge popularity.

UK Sinha to be New SEBI Chairman


NEW DELHI: As per the latest buzz, UK Sinha has been selected as the new Chairman of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). According to the sources, UK Sinha has replaced CB Bhave as the new SEBI Chairman. However, it has not been officially announced.


CB Bhave, who was not offered extension by the Finance Ministry, assumed office in 2007 and will complete his 3-year term in February 2011. “The chairman shall hold office for such period not exceeding 5 years and shall not hold office beyond 65 years of age, whichever is earlier. He is eligible for re-appointment,” Finance Ministry said in a statement.


Other significant names that were also seen in contention for the coveted post include R Bandyopadhyay, who is the present secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Madhya Pradesh Finance Secretary GP Singhal. Apart from these, SBI Chairman O P Bhatt and Reserve Bank Deputy Governor K C Chakrabarty were also selected for the final interviews.

U. K. Sinha is currently serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of UTI Asset Management Company (P) Ltd. Before UTI, he was Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs (from June 2002 to October 2005).


UK Sinha has wide ranging experience in dealing with high profile cases of corporate tax evasion. Earlier, he has served as the Joint Secretary in-charge of Capital Markets in the finance ministry. He has also been a part of various committees formed by SEBI and the Finance Ministry for capital market regulations.


As per the sources close to the development, UK Sinha as the SEBI Chairman would have the option to receive pay equivalent to a Secretary to the Government of India, or a consolidated salary of Rs. 3 lakh per month.

U. K. Sinha Executive Profile & Biography


U. K. Sinha (born March 2, 1952) is currently the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Unit Trust of India Asset Management Company (UTIAMC), commonly referred to as UTI Mutual Fund. He is a member of the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), belonging to the Bihar Cardre.


Before taking over at UTIAMC, Sinha held key positions in the Government of India, notably in the Ministry of Finance, where he was the Joint Secretary, looking after Capital Markets, External Commercial Borrowings, Banking and Currency and Coins. During his tenure at the Ministry of Finance, he spearheaded several initiatives, such as the Banking Sector reforms, and the Capital Market reforms. UK-Sinha


He now holds the rank of an Additional Secretary to the Government of India, continuing deputation to UTI as its CMD. He also heads various committees set up by the Government of India, notably the Wheat Procurement Committee and an Advisory Committee working on the guidelines for Mutual Fund investments in the Infrastructure Sector.


He is the new chairman of SEBI taking over Mr Bhave. He is appointed as a SEBI chairman on 14 Dec 2010 and will join as new chairman in Feb 2011
