Bernie Hamilton,captain in ‘Starsky and Hutch’ died

The actor who played the police captain on the 1970s TV series "Starsky and Hutch," has died at the age of 80 due to cardiac arrest.

His famous films include:"The Young One," "The Devil at 4 O'Clock," "Synanon," "The Swimmer," "Walk the Walk" and "The Organization."

Hamilton spent the next 20 years just after "Starsky and Hutch," in the music business.
