Grey's Anatomy season 5 episode 12: Grey's Anatomy s05e12

The drama at Seattle Grace continues as Grey's Anatomy season 5 episode 12 / Grey's Anatomy 5.12 s05e12 "Sympathy for the Devil" unfolds next week. The presence of death row patient, played by Eric Stoltz, continues to sow different emotions among the doctors and interns at Seattle Grace, specifically among Meredith, Cristina and Derek. While Dr. Grey thinks that the patient is still deserves compassion, Derek puts his prejudice for the man who has taken a number of human lives. Meanwhile, the inmate has decided to donate his organs to Dr. Bailey's patient. Will this affect how the others doctors see him? Also, Derek's mom drops by for a surprise visit and meets Meredith for the first time. Will she like her? Let's tune in to Grey's Anatomy 5.12 / Grey's Anatomy season 5 episode 12 on Thursday to find out. BTW, Eric Stoltz was interviewed by TV Guide about his character and this was what he had to say: "When someone on death row is brought to a hospital, doctors are confronted with their own ethical code. 'Is it right to save the life of someone who has done so much bad in the world?' 'What is a doctor's job and how should one respond to this situation?' It presents a lot of interesting, rich things for all these talented actors to play with."

The full episode video stream of Grey's Anatomy s05e12/Grey's Anatomy 5.12 will be available on this page soon for those of you who prefer to watch it online. Please check back for it regularly. In the meantime, here is the official plot summary of Grey's Anatomy season 5 episode 12, Sympathy for the Devil. The preview video follows at the bottom of this post.

Derek's mother, Carolyn, makes a surprise visit to Seattle and meets Meredith for the first time, as Mark tries to conceal his relationship with Lexie from her as well; meanwhile, death row inmate William wishes to donate his organs to Bailey and Arizona's patient, as Owen and Cristina try to go on their first date.

Brittney Bergeron on 20/20: who is Brittney (Britney) Bergeron?

Brittney Bergeron pics video, brittany Bergeron 20/20, britney Bergeron 20/20, beau maestas, britney himmel, Brittney Bergeron himel, Brittney Himel, Brittney Bergeron photos, Brittney Bergeron pics, read my mind, monacomeBrittney Bergeron on 20/20. Who is Brittney Bergeron and why is 20/20 doing a feature on her? Brittney Bergeron is a handicapped teenager with aspirations to be a Paralympian for the 2012 London Paralympics. But what is interesting is how she became handicapped from the waist down, the tragic childhood she had and the horrible crime that led to her paralysis, and the inspiring tale of her struggle to find a home and parents to adopt her. That is what the 20/20 feature contained.

Brittney Bergeron is a product of a broken home. Her drug-dependent parents divorced when she was little and was passed back and forth in a four-year custody battle. When Brittney was 10, her mother Tamara and her new boyfriend Robert Schmidt packed up their trailer and drove Brittney and 3-year-old Kristyanna Cowan to Mesquite, a small gambling town 80 miles north of Las Vegas. There they settled in an RV on the grounds of a casino hotel. While their parents gambled almost every night, Brittney was left to take care of her little half-sister. It was on one such evening that tragedy struck as then 19-year old Beau Maestas and his sister Monique came knocking on their RV to exact revenge. Allegedly, the teenagers bought $125 worth of methamphetamines from Brittney's mother and step dad earlier that night that turned out to be salt. They attacked the two girls and stabbed them, Brittney 27 times - in her arms, chest, back and legs - and Kissy multiple times in the head and neck. Kissy didn't make it but Brittney did, after a grueling operation that not only attempted to save her life but to repair her damaged spinal cord.

Brittney recuperated under the care of generous foster parents in the persons of Judy and Bill Himel. Under their loving care, Brittney was able to conquer the fears and triumphed over her physical difficulties. She was later adopted by the Himels.

And what about the Maestas? More than three years after the crime, the Beau and Monique each pleaded guilty to murder. Beau Maestas was sentenced to death but his case is under appeal, and his sister received life in prison; she won't be eligible for parole until she is 65. On the other hand, Tamara Bergeron and Robert Schmidt were eventually charged with neglect and sentenced to prison.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of Brittney Bergeron's story. Please read the complete text of the ABC / 20/20 feature here. You'll be horrified at what she went through but at the same be inspired by how she has recovered.

Cristeta Comerford: Cristeta Comerford, Obama White House chef

cristeta comerford, obama white house chef, pinay white house chef, obama chef, Filipina white house chef, pinay obama chef, Filipina obama chef, read my mind, monacomeFilipina chef Cristeta Comerford will remain as White House Executive Chef under the Obama administration. That was confirmed by Obama administration officials recently despite rumors and speculation to the contrary. This was later confirmed by incoming First Lady herself, Michelle Obama, when she announced that Cristeta Comerford will stay on as White House executive chef, putting to rest all the speculation surrounding the decision.

Right after Barack Obama won the presidency and focus shifted to his transition administration, including the staff of the Presidential residence, rumors ran rampant that the White House chef will also be replaced. This is because of the extreme difference in food preference between the outgoing and the incoming presidents. While George W. Bush reportedly prefers BLTs, white-bread grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers, and wouldn't eat anything "green" or "wet", President-elect Barack Obama is partial to greens, fresh vegetables and other healthy foods - "meals straight from the garden".

Three names have even come up in the past as a possible replacement for Cristeta Comerford: Chef Art Smith, prepared Obama's meal at Oprah Winfrey's star-studded fund-raiser for the candidate at her home; Chef Rick Bayless of Chicago's Topolobampo, the Obamas' favorite haunt; and Chef Daniel Young, who cooked for Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention. But in the end, Filipina chef Cristeta Comerford was chosen and will stay as White House Executive Chef.

Cristeta Comerford took the job in 2005 and is the first woman and first minority to serve as executive chef.

"Cristeta Comerford brings such incredible talent to the White House operation and came very highly regarded from the Bush family," Michelle Obama said in a statement released by the transition team. "Also the mom of a young daughter, I appreciate our shared perspective on the importance of healthy eating and healthy families."

Cristeta Comerford is Pinay (slang for Filipina) and this news will make many of us, her Filipino countrymen, proud. She became White House Executive Chef in 2005 and is the first woman to be selected for the post, and also the first of Filipino descent. Born in the Philippines, she attended the University of the Philippines and majored in food technology. However, she did not earn her degree because she had left school to immigrate to the United States. Her first job was at the Sheraton Hotel in Chicago. She also worked at the Hyatt Regency. After Chicago, she moved to Washington DC, and worked as a chef at two restaurants. She additionally spent six months in Vienna as a rotating chef. Cristeta was recruited by executive chef Walter Scheib III in 1995 to work in the Clinton White House. Scheib resigned as executive chef in early 2005 and Comerford was appointed Executive Chef by First Lady Laura Bush on August 14, 2005. She reportedly was appointed to this position due to her handling of a large dinner that was held in honor of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Lisa Rinna Richard Simmons Today Show/Lisa Rinna Today Show

Everybody is searching for this, the Lisa Rinna - Richard Simmons Today Show video, otherwise known as the Lissa Rinna u-p-s-k-i-r-t video or the Lisa Rinna Today Show video. Well, here is its. I wan wondering what it was when I first encountered those keywords on Google trends and when I found this clip on YouTube I was quite speechless - not because of Lisa Rinna but because of Richard Simmons!

It happened a few days ago but only got this attention yesterday, thanks to the people at The Soup on E! who brought it to out attention. does this mean nobody watches that segment of the Today Show? He he. Anyway, while hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford were preparing for

. a commercial break, they announced that Lisa Rinna was coming up next. The camera, of course, switch to Lissa Rinna on the couch. However, she was not alone. The other guest that day, Richard Simmons, decided to join in and engaged in some fun - playing in front of the camera with Lisa Rinna's legs placed on top of his. Suddenly, Richard Simmons got hold of those fantastic legs and raised them, briefly exposing the Dancing with the Stars alum's c-r-o-t-c-h! Lisa Rinna quickly tried to cover her privates with her hand as the camera quickly switched to Hoda and Kathy who were then speechless in shock (and shame).

For the record, let me say that you really could not see anything as the camera was too far to capture any vivid image but the mere fact that Lisa Rinna's "nether regions" was almost exposed on live morning television was stunning. And we have to thank perennial schmuck Richard Simmons for it

Google Chrome 2.0 download / Google Chrome 2.0 pre-beta

Ready to download Google Chrome 2.0? If you still haven't warmed up to the latest version of Google Chrome, then maybe the Google Chrome 2.0/Google Chrome 2.0 pre-beta (Build 2.0.156.1) version will do it for you. Yup, the latest version of Google's browser "destined to rule the web" is up for download, promising a whole lot of new features and several bug fixes. However, since this is a pre-beta version, this latest Google Chrome build is only available if you have subscribed to the latest updates on the Developer Preview Channel (Dev Channel).

A few days ago, Google introduced three new release

channels: Stable Channel, Beta Channel, and Developer Preview Channel. By default, every user is placed on the Stable Channel when they first install Google Chrome. For the more advanced users (or those who can't wait to try Google Chrome versions being polished), the Beta Channel is where they can get the latest beta versions available for public download. On the other hand, unpolished and unstable versions can be downloaded from the Dev Channel for those who cannot wait to try builds still in development - like the case of Google Chrome 2.0. The Dev Channel is where ideas get tested (and sometimes fail), and it can be very unstable at times - not recommended for the ordinary tech mortals among us. Builds that pass the Dev Channel are passed on to the Beta Channel for public download and testing, and then to the Stable Channel after it has passed the beta stage.

The new Google Chrome 2.0 pre-beta download is only recommended for the tech-savvy. However, I am sure many adventurous users out there will still take the risk of testing this new build especially with its new features. Here are just some of them:

  • New version of WebKit. WebKit is the open source code Google Chrome uses to render web pages (HTML and CSS). 1.0.154.36 used basically the same version of WebKit as Safari 3.1, but the WebKit team has made a lot of improvements since that was released. 156.1 uses WebKit version 528.8 or, more precisely, revision 39410 from the WebKit source tree.
  • Form Autocomplete. Google Chrome remembers what you've typed into fields on web pages. If you type in the same form again, it will show any previous values that match what you've typed so far. You can disable Form autocomplete on the Minor Tweaks tab of the Options dialog. (Note: this is like the basic form autocomplete available in Firefox or Internet Explorer. It is not the same as the form fill feature in Google Toolbar.)
  • Full-page zoom. Previously, page zoom (Ctrl++ or Ctrl+-) increased or decreased only the text on a page. Zoom now scales everything on the page together, so pages look correct at different zoom levels.
  • Spell-checking improvements. You can now enable or disable spell checking in a text field by right-clicking in the field. You can also change the spell-checking language by right clicking. To enable spell-checking in a language, add it to the list of 'languages you use to read web sites' in the Fonts and Languages dialog ([Wrench] > Options > Minor Tweaks > Fonts and Languages). Note that Google Chrome doesn't have spell-checking dictionaries for every language you can add to this list.
  • Autoscroll. Many users have asked for this and (thanks to our WebKit update), we now offer autoscrolling. Middle-click (click the mousewheel on most mice) on a page to turn on autoscroll, then move the mouse to scroll the page in any direction.
  • Docking dragged tabs. When you drag a tab to certain positions on the monitor, a docking icon will appear. Release the mouse over the docking icon to have the tab snap to the docking position instead of being dropped at the same size as the original window.
  • Import bookmarks from Google Bookmarks. The [Wrench menu] > Import bookmarks & settings... option now has a Google Toolbar option to import Google Bookmarks. The bookmarks get imported into your Other bookmarks folder. The bookmarks are not kept in sync; the import process simply reads in the current set of online bookmarks.
  • New SafeBrowsing implementation. SafeBrowsing is now faster, more reliable, and uses the disk less often.
  • Use different browser profiles. You can start a new browser window that uses a different profile (different bookmarks, history, cookies, etc.). Use [Wrench menu] > New window in profile. When you create a new profile, you can name it and add a shortcut to your Desktop.
  • Updated V8 Javascript engine to version 0.4.6.0 (from 0.3.9.3).
  • New network code. Google Chrome now has its own implementation of the HTTP network protocol (we were using the WinHTTP library on Windows, but need common code for Mac and Linux). We fixed a few bugs in HTTP authentication and made Google Chrome more compatible with servers that reply with invalid HTTP responses. We need feedback on anything that's currently broken, particularly with proxy servers, secure (https) sites, and sites that require log in.
  • New window frames on Windows XP and Vista, supporting windows cascading and tiling, and other window-management add-in programs.
  • Experimental user script support (similar to Greasemonkey). You can add a --enable-user-scripts flag to your Google Chrome shortcut to enable user scripts. See the developer documentation for details.
  • A new HTTPS-only browsing mode. Add --force-https to your Google Chrome shortcut, and it will only load HTTPS sites. Sites with SSL certificate errors will not load.

If you are one of these adventurous individuals, the first thing to do to download Google Chrome 2.0/Google Chrome 2.0 pre-beta is to subscribe to the Dev or Beta Channel. The detailed steps to follow to subscribe can be found on techblissonline.com. Good luck with your Google Chrome 2.0 download. As for me, I am more of a Stable Channel user so I will just wait until all the testing has been done.
