UFC 94 results / UFC 94 video / BJ Penn vs GSP UFC 94 results

Looking for the UFC 94 results / UFC 94 BJ Penn vs George St. Pierre fight results? How about the other results in the UFC 94 fight card? If you are, then you've come to the right place as this page will feature the outcome of all the UFC 94 fights, from the main card to the preliminary fights.

The UFC 94 fight results are in. George St. Pierre (GSP) overpowered BJ Penn in their welterweight fight, capturing the title by taking advantage of his weight advantage over his smaller foe. It just shows that BJ Penn, moving up from the lightweight division, may not yet be ready to fight the bigger boys.

GSP scored take downs in the second round, third round and fourth round. The smaller fighter from Hawaii just could not handle the power of George St. Pierre. The 27-year-old St. Pierre, who won a split decision when the two met previously at UFC 58 in March three years ago, was leading on all three scorecards when referee Herb Dean stopped the fight on the advice of ringside doctors. BJ Penn’s camp agreed with the referee's decision.

In the other fight, Lyoto Machida proved his superiority over Thiago Silva. Machida floored Silva twice in the first. Silva was out cold. It was one of the shortest UFC main fights I have witnessed. Referee Yves Lavigne pulled Lyoto Machida off and turned him away from the Brazilian fighter. It looked like he had no idea Silva was out. Thiago Silva laid there for a few seconds and until the referee finally realized his fighter is gone.

American Idol 8 top 36 leaked: American Idol season 8 top 36

The names of the top 36 American Idol 8 / American Idol season 8 contestants have allegedly been leaked online! Yup, an anonymous blogger who goes by the pseudonym of "Joe" (how unique!) with online residence at Joes Place Blog is claiming that the following list of 36 American Idol hopefuls made it through Hollywood week and are, in fact, the American Idol 8 Top 36.

For the first time in its history, American Idol 8 will feature 36 semifinalists compared to the usual 24 from Hollywood week. As a result, 12 different semifinalists will be performing every Tuesday with the male, female, and the next top vote getter with the

highest number of votes making it into the top 12. From there, the weekly elimination will ensue based on America's votes until the winner is revealed in May. This season will also feature the return of the "wildcard" round last used in American Idol Season 3 with the judges choosing three eliminated contestants to advance to the finals.

There are reports that "Joe" is the same guy who successfully revealed the top semifinalists last year. If it's true then this year's American Idol top 36 leak is credible. Year One preview / Year One Super Bowl 43 (XLIII) preview

The preview of Jack Black's "Year One" is set the premiere after Super Bowl XLIII and it promises to be another comedy hit. If it's a Jack Black movie it must hilarious! That seems to be the consensus in the forums now that the word is out that the preview of "Year One" will premiere after Super Bowl 43 two days from now. To be shown at Crackle, the sneak peek also contains an exclusive introduction by director Harold Ramis.

According to various online movie sources, "Year One" is about two lazy hunter-gatherers in a Biblical civilization. Banished from their village, they set out on a journey that will lead to to amazing and hilarious

discoveries and misadventures. In a recent interview, Jack Black stated that "Year One" will be about two men running around in Moses' time. He added that the movie is similar to Monty Python's "Life of Brian. People expecting a movie along the lines of Ghostbusters or Knocked Up may be disappointed as 'Year One" is more along the line of Monty Python movies.

Aside from Jack Black, the movie also stars Michael Cera as the other lazy hunter-gatherer together with a supporting cast that includes Olivia Wilde, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Oliver Platt, Hank Azaria and many others. The movie is set to open in June. Expect more previews to come out between Super Bowl 43 and "Year One's" premiere. Once a copy is available for online distribution, you will find one here.
