Year One preview / Year One Super Bowl 43 (XLIII) preview


The preview of Jack Black's "Year One" is set the premiere after Super Bowl XLIII and it promises to be another comedy hit. If it's a Jack Black movie it must hilarious! That seems to be the consensus in the forums now that the word is out that the preview of "Year One" will premiere after Super Bowl 43 two days from now. To be shown at Crackle, the sneak peek also contains an exclusive introduction by director Harold Ramis.

According to various online movie sources, "Year One" is about two lazy hunter-gatherers in a Biblical civilization. Banished from their village, they set out on a journey that will lead to to amazing and hilarious

discoveries and misadventures. In a recent interview, Jack Black stated that "Year One" will be about two men running around in Moses' time. He added that the movie is similar to Monty Python's "Life of Brian. People expecting a movie along the lines of Ghostbusters or Knocked Up may be disappointed as 'Year One" is more along the line of Monty Python movies.

Aside from Jack Black, the movie also stars Michael Cera as the other lazy hunter-gatherer together with a supporting cast that includes Olivia Wilde, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Oliver Platt, Hank Azaria and many others.
