Samantha Biography
Samantha is model turned film actress who appears in Telugu and Tamil films. She was born to Telugu and Malayali parents on April 1987 April 28. She was brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and she is the youngest child of the family having two elder brothers. Despite her mixed regional background, Samantha sees herself as a Tamilian as she was brought up speaking Tamil and English at home. She completed her commerce graduation at Stella Mary’s college in Chennai.

Samantha started her acting career, with modeling and then peeped into some film offers, which came in her way. Although, Tamil film projects, knocked her doorstep first, it was a Telugu film “Ye Maya Chesave” which introduced her as an actress on the silver screen.
Samantha was signed for the first Telugu film in August 2009 and participated actively in all the shooting schedules of the movie, which were scheduled in India and United States. In the month of February 2010, “Ye Maya Chesave” released and brought fame and value to actress Samantha in Tollywood.
She recently tasted another success with Jr Ntr in a film Brindaavanam being directed by Vamsi Paidipally. Here she played a role called Indu, which also gave her good identity. She was seen sporting modern dresses in this film. Along with her Kajal Agarwal an established actress shared screen space with Samantha.
