US airways 1549 plane crash video/Hudson River plane crash video

Two videos of the US Airways flight 1549 plane crash / Hudson River plane crash have recently been made available to the public. Taken from surveillance cameras around the Hudson River area, the stunning footage shows how the plane was ditched into the cold waters to avoid a more disastrous end after one of its engines was struck by a flock of birds. Though the shots were taken from a distance, it nevertheless provides a chilling view of the US Airways flight 1549 plane crash.

The first video posted below came from CNN and was taken from a farther vantage point. However, we can still still the waters of the Hudson River splashing as the US Airways plane

crash-landed. The second footage from YouTube provides a better vantage as the cameras were better-positioned. And, as the US Airways plane crashed into the river, it then gives us a closer view as the cameras zoomed in on the ditched plane.
