Nikon Launches D-SLR Camera, D7000 in India @ Rs. Rs 89,950


Nikon has launched the wonderful 16.2 megapixel camera, D-SLR, the D7000 in India. The all new camera is equipped with advanced technology and delightful features that delivers high image quality, targeted at photo enthusiasts. The camera packed into a compact, elegant body delivers high definition images.


Nikon D7000 is equipped CMOS image sensor technology developed by Nikon and a new image-processing engine EXPEED 2, faster image processing, a high level of noise reduction, better color reproduction characteristics, and reduced power consumption to the users.


Nikon D7000 is a dust and water resistance camera as all joints on the camera body have been sealed. The camera offers durability along with quality. Interestingly, the camera features D-Movie function, which enables recording of high-definition movies (1920 1080p, 24 fps) exhibiting superior video quality.

The advanced features of the camera offer improved capability in shooting under dim lighting in the evening or indoors. Another interesting feature is its Double SD memory card slot that enables use of two SD memory cards.


The camera is equipped with Rechargeable Li-ion Battery EN-EL15, which enables capture of 1,050 shots, when fully charged. Recording of stereo sound via an external microphone is also supported.

Nikon D7000 is priced at Rs 74,450 (body only) and Rs 89,950 with a kit. The kit will include AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens.
