BANGALORE: The wait is over now as Notion ink has, on its blog, posted an image saying, “PRE ORDER NOW”. Earlier today, the company had posted a half covered image of the Adam and around 1:30 PM (IST) the cover was removed which tells about the pre-order.
The pre-order date of December 9 was pretty clear from the veiled count-down on the company’s website, which was placed around 3 weeks ago.
Though the post says pre-order now but a note from Rohan Shravan, the company CEO, says the post detailing pre-order process will be out in some time.
Notion Ink is an Indian startup that was set up to build the tablet PC Adam and some other such devices. Adam tablet has been in news ever since it was announced a year ago. The blog posts by Rohan have been a great hit among the tech lovers all over, which is pretty evident from the comments every post evokes.

According to the information (via blog post) received from Notion Ink, pre-orders will open to the general public on December 10, 2010 at Midnight IST (GMT + 5:30).
Price of Notion Ink Adam
The basic version of the Adam has been kept at $375.33 for the Wi-Fi only, LCD tablet. You can opt to buy a 3G version for $425.33, a Pixel Qi with Wi-Fi version for $499.45, or a Pixel Qi with 3G version for $549. Prices have been kept standard in all countries.
