MUMBAI: As per the latest buzz in the tinsel town, Kangana Ranaut will be soon seen in Ragini MMS scandal. After ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’, Producer –Director Ekta Kapoor will make a film ‘Ragini MMS’, for which she has approached Kangana Ranaut.
As per the reports, the movie named, Ragini MMS, is going to be a horror film based on the real life incident. Sources revealed that a real life couple approached her with a video tape that showed the girl possessed by something paranormal during their lovemaking session. When Ekta watched the footage of a girl involved in the MMS scandal, she was convinced of making a film on it.
It’s going to be next psychological thriller from Balaji’s banner. Balaji Production has already bought the copyright from the victims of the scandal and has started work on it.
Kangana RanautEkta, excited about the concept, said, “I am super excited about this project. It has none of the conventional horror film trappings, bloodbaths, gore or creaky doors.”
“I could have gone ahead and made another LSD 2, but I didn’t want that. When I read the script for Raginni, I knew it would be kickass. I am a huge fan of horror films like Paranormal Activity and Blair Witch Project and the way they have been marketed are brilliant.”
“We plan to devise new and unique ways to create buzz about Raginni in the coming months,” she added.
As per reports, Ekta will announce the film on Bigg Boss show in the presence of the host Salman Khan. Kangana Ranaut has been approached by the Ekta for the role of that girl in the MMS scandal. The movie is expected to go on floors in December.
“The marketing and promotion of Raginni MMS will be done very differently, which is why we are announcing the launch of the project on a TV show even before we go on floors,” she said.
